I think we need to date and time stamp each article, comment and blog on this webpage so we can assess its currency. Older posts should then go to another page as is the case with facebook, so an archive process is in place.

Has the latest Con Ops paper been released and when...?

Re article - Funds cut halts work on e-health records.

Remember not to believe everything you read in The Australian newspaper. We are still working away on IT 14 standards, whilst the bureaucrats get their funding sorted out! The article does not truly represent the current state of affairs.

Hi there, just testing the new website. I think we should always include our HIMAA national conference under the EHealth events listing on the right side of this web page. Even though the content will cover other topics, we must think of our profession as encompassing e health... even if it is some time in the future, we need to rebrand ourselves now as an ehealth association. We are very good as advertising all the other events on offer but think we seem to quarantine our own, even in our journal and interchange, it needs to be promoted constantly each edition.

Please post any comments you have on the draft PCEHR Concept of Operations document by end of the day Friday 20th May. Your feedback will be taken into account for composing the HIMAA response. I will then circulate the draft HIMAA response the following week for your feedback and input.
Thanks
